I love making doodles into abstract and fine art! I'm inspired by famous artists, such as Keith Haring and Mr. Doodle, as well as graffiti and punk inspired art. What separates the work I do from the artists I mentioned is that I go into a lot more detail with the cartoons and doodles that I create. I've really learned not only to treat all the doodles as one solid composition, but also have the images interact with each other. Another beauty of this work is that you can capture a family, an organization, a single person or an idea in a series of doodles that add layers in context. When I create this work, I listen to my favorite music and slip into a flow state and keep a list handy of the person or family or organization. I am creating for, and let each of the doodles tell me where to go next. I like to texture eyes the canvases I draw on, to give it a drawn on a wall type of feel.
